Never Give up on your Dreams!

Recently, I had a major setback. At the age of 49, I experienced a stroke. I couldn't speak, loss the use of my right leg and arm. Being that I am right handed I was devastated if I couldn't write anymore. With no speech, I couldn't dictate my novel. I was always promising to finish it. Now it seems it would never happen. As the days went on, my speech came back. I had to focus more on pronunciation but at least I could talk. My leg regain feeling and movement. Still, my hand wouldn't work. I could lift my arm but that was all. I got used to working with my left arm. I figured I would just type one handed. So far, it is working.

I refuse to give up and still plan on finishing my novel. Things could have turned out worse for me. I could be totally paralyzed, unable to speak, or not have made it at all. We don't know what lies ahead, and if you have a dream or goal you want to accomplish, there is no better time than the present!
